The SAFE Center has collaborated with organizations and departments across the state of Iowa to bring high-level training and education services to sexual assault examiners and response teams.
SAFE Center provides the only accredited 40-hour initial classroom training program for SANE Nurses delivered in the state of Iowa. SANE accredited programs such as the ones offered through SAFE Center allow nurses to become eligible to sit for international SANE Certification through International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN).
